Comics > Freaks' Progress

Freaks' Progress is a narrative collection of characters that have grown with me over twenty years of my life in Chicago. The story is a rambling outgrowth of their intertwining paths. If there is a theme, it would be survival. It starts simply - with two twelve year old girls setting up a pirate radio station.

From 2020 - 2023, Freaks' Progress was serialized in the now defunct Activator music magazine out of Springfield, Illinois. Every month the story incorporated lyrics from songs by local musicians.
