In 2019, Agitator Gallery began mounting weekend “pop up” solo shows, to increase the number of artists we can feature.
Alonso Galué is a Venezuelan artist now based in Chicago. He attended a lecture at Agitator Gallery in the spring of 2019, and decided we were the type of place he wanted to work with. What an honor! I worked with him to create a pop up for that October. The exhibit was unique and very engaging, as you can see in the video. All of us at Agitator learned to expand our ideas of exhibit design and audience interaction. I made this video with Alonso to promote the show.
